July Class Cards

The first card for this month uses the gorgeous fall themed DSP, Beauty of the Earth. The DSP has two whole pages of rows of trees as it's design. I CASE'd this card from the talented Rachel Tessman. I love the simplicity of this card. It also ended up being a happy accident. More on that later.

The second card uses one of my favorite stamp set and I'm in love with the Designer Series Paper. It's from the Suite: You're A Peach, which my late husband used to say to me. I actually love the blues in this DSP pack and the flowers. I love that you can stamp and die cut the branches and use either the flowers or the peaches. I also CASE'd this card from Sylvia MacLellan. I love the Brick & Mortar embossing folder for the background.

One of the ladies in my class mentioned that she has a friend that used the small peaches as blueberries. What a great idea! You could also use them as cherries.

The last card uses the adorable stamp set "Back On Your Feet". I think all the images in this set are adorable, from the sloth, to the giraffe and the turtle. There are so many cute cards out using this stamp set.

I wanted to use an embossing folder that simulated the turtle's shell. In my stash the "Painted Textures" was as close as I could come. I love this cute little guy. This card was also CASE'd from Sharon Davies.

Oh, the happy accident! I had picked out the turtle card first to make for my classes. Then when it came to making the samples I did the Beauty of the Earth. I realized with I came to make the turtle card that I could use the circle, die cut from card 1 for card 3. A little serendipity there.!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy these cards.

Well, back to my craft room. I have a ton of things to prepare for the craft fair!
