Uff da! What's Cookin'.....Lefse!

When I saw the rolling pin in the "What's Cookin' bundle, my thoughts immediately went to my Norwegian roots and the lefse I have made over the years. I thought this cute fun fold "Side Step" card would be perfect to show off all the cute stamps & dies in this bundle

I paired it with the "Bloom Where You Are Planted" DSP. I love the brick background, it gives it a rustic feel, reminiscent of my grandmother who made lefse for her large family. I loved getting just a piece of this, as a child, and always wanted more. I guess when you have over 30 cousins at our get togethers you had to dole it out, sparingly. I understand why now, it is a labor of love. The bowl in this stamp set also reminds me of a bowl that my mother had. Her's was cream and red, but I couldn't get the colors to work for me so it's stamped in Night of Navy. When I first stamped the knife I thought I had stamped it wrong but that's the way it's supposed to be. This is a "Distinktive"® stamp set, where the images are photorealistic.

Can you see my little lefse in the background? It's a hand cut circle and I used one of my oldie but goodie stamp sets "Gorgeous Grunge" for the brown marks on the lefse.

You can find a PDF of this fun fold in the Digital Downloads section of this website. Look for "Side Step" fun fold.

Here's a quick link to shop for the products that I used. Click it and it will add all the products to your cart, or unclick the items you don't want, to add just what you need. Another way to shop is to click on any of the photos below and it will bring you to that product and you can add it to your cart that way.

Here are the supplies that I used. The Gorgeous Grunge stamp set is retired and no longer available. The Silver foil I used for the whisk and pancake turner is no longer available. (but heads up there is some in the 2021 Aug - Dec Mini Catalog)
