Simply Elegant Sympathy card

It's always a sad thing having to make sympathy cards, but it is a part of life. So my aim, in making them, is to make them as beautiful as I can.

I needed to make a card for a church member, who lost someone very young. My inspiration was the Beautifully Penned DSP, in the August & September SAB catalog and paired it with the Encircled In Beauty dies, in the 2021 July - December catalog.

The die I used cuts out the center, (there is another smaller die that leaves the center in so it can be stamped on) I stamped it in Smokey Slate and embellished with the Clear & Silver Epoxy Essentials. I think the silver drops look a little like tears. The ribbon is retired, a Smokey Slate from an SAB a couple years ago.

I also made an envelope liner with the same DSP and the retired Envelope dies.

Here are the supplies that I used. The stamp set is also one of my favorite retired stamp sets for my sympathy cards, Thoughts & Prayers.

Encircled In Beauty Dies #155546 (2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog)

Beautifully Penned DSP #156630 (2021 Aug & Sept SAB Catalog, free with qualifying purchase)

Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials #1555567

I hope you find some inspiration for your own cards here.
