Spring Craft Fair Newbie

I've become a veteran over the last few years of fall craft fairs, so when the opportunity arose to participate in a spring craft fair in the town where my daughter lives, I thought. let's give it a try.

Well just returned minutes ago, after grabbing some sustenance at a local restaurant.

It was interesting to say the least. It wasn't so much a craft fair as it was a Lulu LaRue show? Not sure of the correct spelling. There were at least six of those vendors, with their little pods for trying on clothes. Very few actual "crafts" mostly vendors selling their wares, like Scentsy, Pampered Chef etc.

We had craft, Michelle and I made with our Stampin' Up! products.

I'm not sure if it is normally slow in the spring, or if it was because it rained continually, but traffic was light. I did sell a few gift card holders and some coffee carriers. But not much else. We did make several contacts on the Stampin' Up! side. Cast our breads upon the waters, so to speak, so we will see if we get any nibbles.

We had attended a craft fair in our own fair city a couple of weeks ago and traffic was light then too, and the weather wasn't bad, cloudy if I remember. So maybe it's just the season. If you have participated in spring craft fairs, I would be interested to know your experience.

Here are a few photos of our booth.

Enjoy!
