April's Abundance of Birthdays

April is probably the month with the most birthdays for me. There are 2 or more each week. Today I made a couple of Bridge Cards. I thought this went well with the one of the images from In The Moment Stamp set, where a woman is gazing off into the distance from a balcony or deck with a glass of wine in her hand. I imagine her daydreaming and appreciating the beautiful view, just lost in the moment.

I like the Bridge fun fold because it stands up by itself, works great for scene cards and it fits flat in an A2 envelope.

I first sponged the white cardstock ( 2 7/8" x 4") with Bumblebee (retiring In Color), Flirty Flamingo and Misty Moonlight (retiring In Color), using Blending Brushes.

I then colored them with my Stampin' Blends, So Saffron (dress), Balmy Blue (hat), Crumb Cake (rail) and Rich Razzleberry (wine).

I die cut it with my Stitched Rectangles dies. The card base is Fresh Freesia (current In Color).

The message on the front is from Seaside View, stamped in Misty Moonlight and then punched with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch The back birthday message is from what is becoming one of my favorite Sale-a-brations sets Special Moments. I also sponged this piece before stamping the messages.

I want to also show a masculine card in this design using A Good Man stamp set. This would make a great birthday or Father's Day card!

I'd love to see your cards if you give either this fun fold a try or the stamp sets. You can post them on my group Facebook page "Cottage Lane Stamper & Friends". If you haven't joined I hope you will.

Thank you for stopping in!
